Booth 30 - Cobalt Light Systems Inc.

Now a part of Agilent, Cobalt’s portable and benchtop Raman instruments significantly reduce QC costs in pharmaceutical manufacturing. RapID enables 100% materials verification through unopened paper sacks, plastic bottles and other containers. Cobalt’s proprietary SORS method reduces cost and maintains sterility for reliable materials ID verification in 5-20 seconds with no sampling booth. TRS100 replaces HPLC in a content uniformity workflow with Transmission Raman spectroscopy for content uniformity (including polymorph) testing of intact tablets, capsules and powders. Measurements take seconds and sample preparation/consumables are not required. At SciX we will also be running demos on Resolve; Cobalt’s new handheld system for hazmat, explosives and narcotics ID through unopened opaque and colored containers.
